She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Worth and Agnes Mae Warren Lee; her brothers, Billy Craven Lee, Stephen W. "Stebo" Lee, Jr., Thomas W. Hudson and Hugh D. Hudson; and her sister-in-law Shirley W. Parrish.

She is survived by: her husband W. David Wood, Jr.; her daughters, Stephanie W. Hall (Steve), Stacey W. Hilliard (Kenneth), Annah W. Creech (Kevin) and Melissa W. Kornegay (Kevin); her grandchildren, Olivia H. Lampe (Matt), Samuel Wood Hall, Kendall Elizabeth Hilliard, Caroline Agnes Hilliard, Phoebe Daye Creech, Meadow Belle Creech and Claire Hope Kornegay; her brother Don S. Lee (Sandra); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Jo Bennett (Gregg) and Alice W. Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
