She was predeceased by: her father Marion G. Lee; and her brother Luther Frank Lee. She is survived by: her husband Joseph D. "J. D." Barefoot; her siblings, Gerald Lee (Theresa) and Janet Capps (Mike); and her siblings-in-law, Susan Lee, Phoebe Watson, Patsy Lee, Jackie Johnson and Kenneth Barefoot (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
