She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Swann Sr. and Geraldine Barber Swann. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Byrd; her children, Jeannie Hope Freeman of Willow Springs, Timothy Murray Freeman of Uwharrie, NC. and Ricky Eugene Pulliam Jr. of Surf City, NC.; her stepchildren, Anita Byrd, Gabriel Byrd, Justin Byrd and Ricky Byrd; and her siblings, Barbara Swann, Neil Swann Jr., Clift W. Swann and David W. Swann Ms. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
