Claude Byrd Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 17, 2025, at the age of 86, Claude Byrd Jr. (Benson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Byrd, Sr. and Pearl Norris Byrd; his wife Myrtle Blackmon Byrd; and his sons, Robin Byrd and Chris Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Freda Byrd and Tracey Byrd; his granddaughter Michelle Williams (Michael); his daughters-in-law, Kimberly Moore (Brandon) and Kristen Byrd; his great grandchildren, Austin Williams and Carter Moore; and his great great grandchild Emerson Kate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
