She was predeceased by: her father Bud Elmon; her husband John Rufus Byrd; her great grandchild Brooke Tart Honald; and her siblings, Lessie Beasley, Bessie Blackman and Bill Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald L. Byrd (Betty Lou) of Benson, Brenda J. Byrd of Benson and Judy C. Byrd Johnson of Benson; her grandchildren, Annette Campbell (Tony), Anthony Byrd (Pat), Pamela Stephenson and Troy Byrd (Paige); and her great grandchildren, Nikki Hyatt, Zachery Stephenson, Anna Grace Stephenson, Clint Benson, Katie Barefoot (Tyler), A. J. Byrd, Madison Clifton (Brett), Reagan Byrd, Kennedy Byrd, Kenzie Tart, Addison Honald, Ellery Barefoot, Maverick Barefoot and Jameslee Barefoot. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
