He is survived by: his wife Deborah McLamb Bain; his children, Jon Ray (Christy) of Clayton and Jessica Ray of Benson, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan Holmes, Dylan Coats, Makayla Coats (Johnny) and Samantha Johnson (Matt); his great grandchildren, Parker Jean Bannister and Johnson; his brother Randy Bain of Erwin, NC; his nieces and nephews, Tonya Norris (Roy) and Stacy Evans (Donna); his sister-in-law Phyllis Barefoot; and his pet Charlie.
