He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Bain, Jr. and Mattie Grace Cook Bain; his former wife Debbie Barefoot Bain; Becky Bain Evans and C. L. Bain.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah McLamb Bain; his children, Jon Ray (Christy) of Clayton and Jessica Ray of Benson, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan Holmes, Dylan Coats, Makayla Coats (Johnny) and Samantha Johnson (Matt); his great grandchildren, Parker Jean Bannister and Johnson; his brother Randy Bain of Erwin, NC; his sibling's children, Tonya Norris (Roy) and Stacy Evans (Donna); his sister-in-law Phyllis Barefoot; and his pet Charlie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504).
