She is survived by: her children, Michael Paynter (Judith) and Jessica Strickland (Danny); her grandchildren, Austin Paynter, Rachel Strickland, Kristian Paynter, Daniel Strickland, Danielle Paynter, Justin Paynter, Nichole Smith, Gabrielle Strickland, Matthew Strickland and Hannah Strickland; her great grandchildren, Atreus Paynter and Christian Paynter; her brother Jerry Bentley; and her mother Virginia Hiles.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wise Baptist Church Cemetery (1840 U. S. Rte 1, Norlina, NC 27563).
