He was predeceased by: his father Weldon Ray Hudson; and his grandparents, Hubert Hudson, Betty Hudson Tew, Erech and Effie Parker Barefoot.

He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Barefoot Hudson of Benson; his son Erech Ray Hudson; his sister Belinda Hudson Begley (Donnie) of Coats; his nephew Riley Begley (Jonna); his great-niece Whitlee Begley of Dunn; his close friend Lisa Hudson; and his pets, Smokey and Bandit.
