She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Joseph; her husband Rev. Atlas Blackmon; her daughter Pansy Lenelle Blackmon Tarver; her grandchildren, Atlas Wayne Allen and Diana Lee Allen; and her siblings, Marvin Wood, Felton Wood, Lena Lee, Gertrude Beasley, Dalton Wood, Gertie Lewis, Myrtie Strickland, Leonard Wood, Doris Beasley and Herbert Wood.
She is survived by: her son Ben Blackmon (Robbie); and her sisters, Margine Wood Dixon, Catherine W. Wood (Eurtiss) and Elizabeth W. Johnson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
