He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Mac Jones, Jr. and Marie Moss Jones; and his daughter DeEtta Jones Wood. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Wilkins Jones; his son Forrest Spencer Jones (Heather); his son-in-law Jeff Wood (Kasey); his grandchildren, Justin Wood, Mary Wood, Ava Wood, Archie Jones, Aaron Jones and Andrew Jones; and his siblings, Mac Jones (Peggy) and Denise J. Penny (Andy Mack). He is also survived by other family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (5510 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Fellowship Community Cemetery (2850 Old Fairground Rd, Angier, NC 27501).
Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church in Memory of Craig Jones or the DeEtta Wood Memorial Scholarship through the Angus Foundation, 3201 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506.
