He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Lassiter Medlin; and his grandson Scottie Medlin. He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Julie Medlin) and Hal (Corine Medlin); his grandchildren, Kim Hall and Greg Strickland; and his great grandchild Sydney Creech.
