With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Izell Newby of Benson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 69. Izell is survived by: wife Yolanda Hicks Newby; children, Jacqueline, LaMarcus of Raleigh, NC and Rodney (Tonya) of Raleigh, NC; and siblings, Teresa N. Gethers, Gail C. Ford of Raleigh, NC, Anthony Chrisp (Laura) and Bravette Chrisp (Katie) of Raleigh, NC.. Izell is also survived by Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
