He was predeceased by: his father Marvin J. Hester; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Kimberly Hester Spry (Charles) and Jack H. Hester, Jr.; his brothers, Marvin Hester (Linda) and Charles Hester (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Maria "Bunnie" Hester (Bill), Vickie Overbey and Diann Baker; his grandsons, Charles, Heath, Brandon and Tyler; his pet Baron; and his caregivers, Racquel, Sharyn, Jaimie, Tori, Jennifer and Bee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
