It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie O'Neal Ennis in Benson, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Ennis and Virginia Ennis; his sons, Randy Ennis (Liz) and Beckton James (Mindy); his wife Susan Wallace Ennis; and his grandchildren, Barrett Ennis, Graham Ennis, Rebekah James and Thomas James.
Susan managed to entice Jack in venturing over to Europe to visit Beckton in Berlin, Germany and into Prague, Czechoslovakia for New Year's. Some years later they traveled to Italy and planned a trip to Great Britain, but that trip was cancelled by the arrival of COVID.
Jack was an avid golfer from the early 60's until recently when he could no longer play due to the progression of his Parkinson's Disease.
