It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janemaree Segars Baker of Benson, North Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burrell and Connie Marie Hill Segars; her husband Willie J. Baker; her brothers, Randy Segars and Christopher Needham; and her son-in-law Leslie Swift.
She is survived by: her children, Lauder Evans Hall, Jr. (Tammy) of Reidsville, Evamarie Hall (Daniel Clifton) of Benson, Betsy Weaver (Larry) of Norfolk, Virginia, Judy Swift of Cedarville, Willie Baker (Scherrye) of Chesapeake and Lisa Singleton (Hank) of Louisiana; and her brother Steve Segars (Maria) of Alabama. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
