He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Andrew and Maggie Langdon Norris; his wife Carolyn Sue Strickland Norris; his son Larry Brian Norris; and his brothers, Andrew Norris, Stacy Norris and Carl Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Oliver Norris and Susan Nicole Norris; and his sister Betty Jo Young (Ricky). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
