She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Kiah "Buddy" and Euba McGee Byrd; and her brothers, Bruce Byrd and Reece Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Larry Vinson Barefoot; her son Skylar Vinson Barefoot; her granddaughter Kenzie Lee Tart; her siblings, Medwick Byrd, Sr. (Loretta), Cronin Byrd, Sr. (Judy) and Wanda B. Duncan (Freddie); her sisters-in-law, Linda Lunney, Carol Barefoot (Johnny) and Cathy Barefoot (Robert); and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504).
