She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Thornton of Coats, NC and Adam Earl Thornton (Jenna) of Tampa, Florida; her grandson Benjamin Thornton; and her siblings, Betty Blackman (Billy) of Benson, NC, Robert Jackson (Lydia) of Newton Grove, NC, Charles Jackson of Dunn, NC, Billy Ray Jackson (Vicky) of Benson, NC and Kenneth Ray Jackson (Tonya) of Four Oaks, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of many friends.
