With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Smith Bryant of Benson, North Carolina, who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raeford Smith and Eloise Spivey Smith; and her husband Bobby Glenn Bryant. She is survived by: her sons, Kris Bryant (Katie) of Winston-Salem and Josh Bryant (Marisa) of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Micah, Claire, Zeke and Clara.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child c/o Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.

“Prayers for the family for your peace in this time of loss. We were neighbors as you were growing up next door on Nature Trail Rd. So sorry for your loss. Has been about a year since I saw your mother at a get together for widows at Tony Paul Beasley's but think of all of you often. Dale Ray talks about when we had the skate board ramp in the back yard and Joyce would video everybody having a good time!”
