She was predeceased by: her father Forrest Venton; her husband Rufus Harold Barbour; and her brother Frank Watson. She is survived by: her children, Elaine B. Reed of Garner, NC and Timothy H. Barbour (Cristina Carusi-Barbour) of Superior, Colorado; her granddaughters, Erin Clark of Clayton, NC, Nicole Barbour of San Francisco and Kristin Barbour of Irvine, California; her great grandchildren, Abby Clark and Zac Clark; and her sister Dorothy W. Denning of Benson, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
