It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Moore Tart (Benson, North Carolina), who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lonnie Mack; her husbands, Bobby Hill and Y. Ira Tart; her son-in-law Jim Phillips; and her grandson-in-law Jonathan Overby.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Tart (Debby) of Benson, NC, Vicki Phillips of Lacanto, FL and Ann Parker (Ricky) of Dunn, NC; and her grandchildren, Craig Johnson, Scott Tart (Terri), Valerie Carillo (Josh), Traci Phillips, Mary Overby and Cameron Rodgers (Robbie). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
