She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Velma Lee Adams; her husbands, Jerry Penny and Paul Hay; and her brothers, Raeford Adams and Jerry Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Parker (Troy) of Benson, Paige Byrd (Troy) of Benson, Tanya Hay of Florida and Tammy H. Thomas of Florida; her grandchildren, Madison Byrd Clifton (Brett), Reagan Byrd, Kennedy Byrd, Caleb Parker, Seth Parker, Adam Fields, Dalton Thomas and Amber Thomas; her great grandchild Taylor Fields; and her sisters, Joyce Raynor of Nashville, TN and Maurine Adams of Angier.
