She was predeceased by : her parents, Julius Adams and Ruth Adams; her husband James Carl Jernigan; her children, Sherry Johnson and Terry Herring; her grandson Nicholas Herring; her son-in-law Charles Hardy; and her brothers, Jimmy Adams, Carl Adams and Bobby Adams.
She is survived by : her children, Billy Herring (Linda) and Brenda Hardy; her grandchildren, Billy Ray Herring, Michael Herring, Amanda Garman, Samantha Scott and Terra Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Cori Bleazey, Tabitha Herring, Kally Herring, Logan Herndon, Morgan Kutt, Caroline Scott and Kaitlyn Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
