In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marion leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marion may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Lester Houston and Barbara Wood Houston; her husband Ivan Wood; and her son David Vance Wood. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Wood of Dunn and Christa Renee Murray of Fountain, NC; her sisters, Connie Norris of Erwin, Brenda Jeanette Johnson of Angier and Mavis Frable of Cameron; and her pet Riley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
