She was predeceased by: her parents, Luby Marshall and Sallie Johnson Blackmon; her husband Charles Beasley; her daughter Peggy Beasley; her brothers, Durwood Blackmon and R. T. Massengill; and her sister-in-law Willow Dean Blackmon.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Casey (David) and Ricky Beasley (Peggy); her grandchildren, Brandy Pollard (Lee), Jessica Hall (Dylan), Eric Beasley, Melissa Allen, Will Allen (Alex) and Matthew Allen (Maddie); her great grandchildren, Nora Hall, Chase Pollard, Bryce Pollard, Olivia Allen and Bailey Allen; her brothers, Luby Blackmon and Elwood Blackmon (Ruby); and her sister-in-law Linda Blackmon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.
