He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Joseph O'Neil and Clara Ann Brill O'Neil; and his siblings, Thomas O'Neil and Daniel Joseph O'Neil. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kelly O'Neil; his children, T. J. Cox, Kelly Hiatt (Lawrence) and Daniel Joseph Cox; his grandchildren, Kaelee (John), Alexis, Tristian, Courtney, Timothy, Jr., Abagail, Ethan, Lucas and Mia; his great grandchild Faith Marie; his sister Kathy Ann Salak; and his sisters-in-law, Rose O'Neil and Dorothy Teresa Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Nc State Veterans Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
