He was predeceased by: his grandfather Dennis Warden; his stepgrandfather Bob Hayes; and his grandmother Alice Blanton. He is survived by: his parents, William Blanton and Shanna Blanton of Linden; his brother Wyatt Blanton (Huddy Reed); his nephew Hudson Reed Blanton of Benson; his grandparents, David Blanton of Fayetteville and Julie Hayes (Scott Smith) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; his great-grandparent Evelyn Blanton of Fayetteville; Sierra of Benson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Camp Ground United Methodist Church (4625 Campground Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28314). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Nick's memory.
