She is survived by: her parent Shirley Ann Smith of Fuquay; her husband Robert Avery; her children, Mindy Avery of Lillington, Wendy Thompson of Shallotte, Tracy Thompson of Plain View and Cara Avery of Hampstead; her grandchildren, Jerry Coats, Cody Coats, Molly Keiper, Chase Keiper, Chrisalee Garofolo, Laney, Landon Garofolo, Brianna Cox, Riley Fuller, Liam Fuller and Chloe Thornton; her great grandchildren, Honey Gray, Austin and Bobby Coats; and her siblings, Bonnie Jackson of Dunn, Sherri Jackson of Benson and Chuck Edward Jackson (James Jackson). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
