He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lassiter and Mattie Johnson Lassiter; his former wife Sylvia Faye Lassiter; his sons, Chris Allen and Mark Allen; his grandsons, Shane Norris and Scott Blackmon; his siblings, Norman Lassiter, Joe Lassiter, Dorothy Clayton, Clara Kaylor, Grace Canaday and Matilda Whitlock; and his son-in-law Donnie Brady.
He is survived by: his friends, Dena, Danny Norris and Benson; his wife Margie Lassiter; his children, Teresa Brady, Tony Allen (Kim), Carl Hatcher (Robbin), Gayle Polk (Harold) and Susan Fasnacht (Bob); his daughters-in-law, Carol Allen and Sandy Allen; his grandchildren, Dena Norris (Danny), Shannon Holland (Steven), Shannon O'Shea (Ryan), Sarah Zarley (Alex), Grace Hatcher, Jordan Polk (Casey), Benjamin Polk (Kate), Matthew Polk (Jordan), Joshua Fasnacht, Madelyn Fasnacht, Jessica Stanley and Michael Lee (Erin); his nieces, Aurelia Clayton, Kim Smith, Pam Stone and Bay River; and his close friend Jerry Beasley. He is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
