He is survived by: his parent Thomas Derleth; his wife Marylee Derleth; his children, Jason (Tasha), Gabriel (Allix), Patrick (Sabrina) and Emily (Josh); his grandchildren, Mercedes, Re'kwaun, Jasmine, Myles, Roman, Adi, Luke, Evan and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Kyra and Elaina; and his siblings, Robert (Sandy), John, Maureen (Nelson) and Steve. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ofw Baptist Church (7970 Raleigh Rd, Benson, NC 27504).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Timothy's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
