We announce the death of William Welsh (Benson, North Carolina), who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 89. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Anderson Welsh and Lizzie Mae Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Mary Parker Welsh; and his stepchildren, Wayne Lee, Sheila Parker and Carol Loye.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Barbour's Chapel A. C. Church (164 Barbours Chapel Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524).
