She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Whitted and Caroline Whitted; her son Eddie; her grandson Kirk Harris; her brother Bob Whitted; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Whitted.

She is survived by: her children, David Jr. (Jill) and Vicky Harris (Dean); her daughter-in-law Cindy Jo Rush; and her brothers-in-law, Stephen Rush and Jerry Rush (Linda). She is also survived by five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and several nephews and cousins.
