She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hurt and Rosa Cockerham Hurt of Jonesville; her husband J. Lee Campbell; and her siblings, Ralph Hurt, E. K. Hurt of Courtney, Roy Hurt of Mocksville and Ruth Hurt Newman of Jonesville.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Campbell (Gail) of Charlotte, Barbara Smith (Steve) of Mocksville and Sharon Howard of Jonesville; her granddaughters, Deena Burris (Chris) of Weaverville, Rhonda Campbell Duggan of Concord, Melissa Parker (Lee) of Elkin and Amanda Lagle (Brad) of Mocksville; her great grandchildren, Austin, Luke Jackson of Elkin, Carson, Ally Claire Duggan of Concord, Abby, Ava Burris of Weaverville, Carter (Sidney) and Ethan Lagle (Abigail) of Mocksville; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Ann Campbell of Yadkinville and Shirley Campbell of Jonesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; special neighbors; and the many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the North Oak Ridge Baptist Church (2504 N Oak Ridge Church Rd, Boonville, NC 27011).
