It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Kay Diener Nicastro of Bermuda Run, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Arthur Diener and Frances Bunkelman Diener; and her brother Curtis Diener. She is survived by: her husband Joseph F. Nicastro; her children, Kevin Nicastro (Rebecca), Ann Gibson (Daniel) and Anthony Nicastro (Jaime); her sister Kay Leeson (Dick); and her sister-in-law Dian Diener. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County.
