He was predeceased by: his fathers, Lester Bohler Harriss-Sheafe and Winston Richmond Harriss, Sr.; his brother John Mitchell Harriss; and his brother-in-law William O. Miller. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Collins (Joe) of Clemmons; his sister Phyllis Miller of Decatur, GA; his grandchildren, Jessica Powers (James), Christopher Collins (Natalie) and Julia Grace Collins; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Powers, Catherine and Renner Collins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (114 Church St, Henderson, NC 27536). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location.
