He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bruce Dixon and Virginia Spencer Dixon; and his brother Jan Hillman Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Bolick Dixon; his children, Debra Lineberger (Tommy) of Bessemer City, Donnie Dixon (Lisa) of Bessemer City and Bruce "Wayne" Dixon (Lori) of Florida; his brother Ernest Rodney Dixon (Pat) of South Carolina; his sister-in-law Connie Dixon of Idaho; his grandchildren, Shawn, Jennifer, Megan, Sarah, Matthew, Sierra, Katie, Seth, Cody and Sam; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
