He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Elizabeth Hoffman; and his son-in-law Chad Rush. He is survived by: his father Jackie Haney; his wife Paula Haney; his children, Brandy Rush, Mandy Haney, Candance Haney Luebbers (Eric) and Wesley Haney (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Alyssa, Ashlyn, Myla, Houston, Madison, Cooper, Chloe, Evelyn, Leon, Waylan, Jackson, Naomi, Dylan, Lincoln and Vern; his great grandchildren, Levi, Luke and Colton; his stepmother Bertha Haney; and his siblings, Tim Haney (Tracy) and Chrystal Haney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Life Baptist Church (614 S 11th St, Bessemer City, NC 28016). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery (300 E Church St, Cherryville, NC 28021).
