He is survived by: his friend Tim Moore; and his siblings, Stephen Beaty Hackett, Dr. Lynn Hunter Hackett of Columbia and Betsy Julienne Hackett-Davis (Fred Shepard Davis) of Columbia. He is also survived by his many cousins, and friends.
