He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Gene Boone; and his wife Rita Ashe Boone. He is survived by: his mother Virgie Eller Boone; his children, Julian Esquivel of Asheville, Tonya Boone of Bessemer City and Robert Boone, Jr. of Bessemer City; and his siblings, Gloria Lawrence, Bobby Boone, Jr. and Randy Boone. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sisk-Butler Funeral Home (730 Gastonia Hwy, Bessemer City, NC 28016).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
