He is survived by: his children, Mary Louise Jones Velk of Pink Hill, William "Bill" Robert Ferry of Pink Hill, James Lee Ferry of New Bern and Katsuhiro Miyara. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
