He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Mobley Hines. He is survived by: his children, Alvis Earl Hines, Jr., Rhonda Hines, Crissy Lanier (Joseph) and Jonathan Pierce (Denita); and his grandchildren, Bodhee Williams, Curtis Lanier (Sarah), Ethan Lanier (Casey), Luke Lanier and Colt Pierce.
