She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan H. Hill and Pearl Carter Hill; her husband Eldridge R. Maready (Red); and her siblings, Annie Mae Hill, Eloise Hill Sanderson (Emons), Helon Louise Hill Maready (Ellie Ray), Clarence Rodolph Hill (Ethelene), Ralph Hill (Pearl) and Joseph Andrew (Bossman).
She is survived by: her children, Angela Faye Maready (Angie), Amanda Dawn Maready and Anthony Eldridge Maready (Andy). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends she loved.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Pink Hill Funeral Home (1056 NC-11, Pink Hill, NC 28572). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the East Duplin Memorial Gardens (2192 NC-24, Beulaville, NC 28518).
