He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Sue Hall; and his sister Annie Mae Moore. He is survived by: his daughter April Blizzard (Samuel Ashley Blizzard III) of Hampstead; his grandchildren, Brody Garrett Vance (Casey Corley Vance) of Cincinnati, OH, Brandon Chase Vance (Marissa Vance) of Charleston, SC, Alecia Cox (Andrew) of Fuquay Varina, Paxton Blizzard (Javari) of Apex and Alex Britt (Jared) of Albertson; his great grandchildren, Evan Garrett Vance, Eva Rose Holshouser, Eliza McNair Cox, Drew Robeson Cox, Marsh Samuel Britt and Violet Vance; and his brother Julius Ray Hall (Glenda) of Clayton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
