In the vast expanse of eternity, Edwin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edwin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Spencer and Hazel Spencer; and his former wife Twila Tucker. He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Martin of Chinquapin; his daughter Paige Spencer of Raleigh; his stepdaughter Ashley Holmes; his son Hunter Spencer of Wilmington; his brother Wallace Spencer of Dover; and his grandchildren, Savannah Spencer, Walter Holmes and Graham Holmes.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Dr, Kinston, NC 28504).
