He is survived by: his wife Edna Von Wasner Contrell; his siblings, Charleen Childers (Paul "P. D.") of Converse and Jerald Fewell (Marsha) of Peru; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Childers (Linda), Marcia Ladd (JB), Mike Childers (Marcia), Missy Childers, Randy Fewell, Amy McKinney, Arin Grider (Billy) and Phillip Cullers.
