He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Childers Maready (Kenneth W.) of Beulaville, NC.; and his siblings, Viola Hall of Gosport, IN. and Lowell Childers of Bloomfield, IN..
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (840 W Main St, Beulaville, NC 28518). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nc State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gift may be made to the Building Fund, Cedar Fork Baptist Church, 668 Cedar Fork Church Road, Beulaville, NC 28518.
