James Leslie Normile Obituary
We announce the death of James Leslie Normile of Beulaville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 66. James Leslie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie (Elizabeth Sutton Normile) and James. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Penny Lanier (Ivy) and Samuel Sumner (Brooks); his grandchildren, Luke Lanier (Cassidy), Leslie Lanier, Levi Lanier, Kross Sumner and Brantley Sumner; and his brothers, Dennis Normile and Danny Normile (Carol). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family, friends, and military brothers.
