She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Henderson and Edna Henderson (George Dunn Sholar, Jr.); her son George Michael Sholar; her sister Dorothy Mae Sholar; her granddaughters, Samantha Seguin and Elizabeth Sholar (Beth); and her great grandchild Caleb Gore.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Sholar (Tony), Jonathan Sholar (Johnny) and Melissa Sholar Seguin (David); her daughter-in-law Cathy Sholar; her sister Vivian Henderson Teachey (Donald); and her husband George. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (840 W Main St, Beulaville, NC 28518).
