He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Somers Jones. He is survived by: his son Neil Ryan Jones (Jessica) of Raleigh; his sister Holly Whitt of Oxford; his grandson Henry Samuel Jones; his niece Jennifer Duke; and his great-nephew Joseph Duke.
