With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Tate Mobley of Beulaville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cooper Mobley and Arlene Mobley; and his siblings, Jerry Randall Mobley and Josephelaine "Doll" Mobley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gail Mobley of Pink Hill, NC; his children, Jeremy Tate Mobley (Kim) of Beulaville, NC and Melissa Mobley Mogollon (Johnny) of Beulaville, NC.; his brother Defoid Mobley (Diane) of Pink Hill, NC.; and his grandchildren, Joseph Tate Mogollon (Gillee), Samuel Wyatt Mogollon, Alexis Ward (Jordan), Anna Hill (Seger), Zachery Edwards (Katelyn) and Jacob Edwards.

“Uncle J. T. was always so sweet to me. As a wee-little girl, when I could hear his voice I remember being happy! He loved to make others laugh and seeing smiles around him! Through my eyes as a child my Uncle was always special and made me feel the same!!! 🫂 As an adult I didn’t see him often, but after years when we did see one another, he held me to my favorite nickname, Lil Miss America. lol ❣️ 🙏🏼Thank you for always letting your love show to your family! 🥰 I will miss you! 🫡”
